Formafantasma's Cambio exhibition at Serpentine Gallery, London

'Formafantasma: Cambio' opened Wednesday, 4 March 2020 at the Serpentine Gallery, London.

Formafantasma dissected the entire wood industry as both a case study for reimagining established manufacturing methods and a larger commentary on design’s role during an era of environmental crisis. Cambio derives its name from the Latin word cambium, 'change, exchange', and references the membrane that envelops tree trunks and produces wood and bark, as well as encompassing the project’s aims and research objectives.
